What is Content Workbench and Supplier Content Management?
Content Workbench is used by the buyers to approve and enrich catalogs. Supplier Content Management is used by suppliers to upload and publish catalogs.

Why is Content Workbench and Supplier Content Management upgraded?
The reason for the upgrade is to further improve IBX service towards our customers. For you as an IBX customer it means that you will have a more powerful and user friendly application to manage your catalogs.

What is the difference between the new and the old version?
The user interface is redesigned to improve usability, but the core functionality is the same. Changes are done having in mind that existing users should easily recognize how to perform their usual tasks.

Can I keep using the old version of the application?
No, the old version will be closed and replaced by the new version.

When will the upgrade take place?
The upgrade will be done in two phases. Information about upgrade date has been distributed.

First phase: Customer in the first phase has been live on the new version since 21st June 2010.

Second phase: The last day to use the old system will be Friday the 8th October 2010. The new version will be available from Monday 11th October 2010.

Will existing catalogs be available after the upgrade?
Yes, both activated catalogs as well as catalogs waiting for approval.

Will I be able to use the same catalog template as today?
Yes, the catalog template will not be changed due to the upgrade.

Will I be able to use the same CSV or BMECat 1.2 format as today?
Yes, the CSV and BMECat 1.2 formats will not be changed due to the upgrade.

Will the validation rules and mappings be the same as in previous version?
Yes.

Do I need to update my catalog?
No, there is no need to update the catalog due to the upgrade.

Will I have the same login and password as before?
No, you will receive new login credentials. The new version is integrated into IBX user portal which means that you will be able to login once and access several applications. More applications will be added in the future.

How can I get help with the new version?
There will be an on-line manual and an eLearning movie that will guide you through the system. If you still have questions – IBX Service Desk is there to help you.
