IBX chosen for global purchasing
IBX has signed an agreement with IKEA and will provide a global on-demand solution for sourcing and procurement and an extensive program to introduce the solution throughout the entire IKEA group.
As part of the agreement, IBX will provide a complete on-demand solution for IKEA including IBX eSourcing and IBX eProcurement, access to IBX supplier network, as well as sourcing and global implementation services. The whole project will support IKEA in generating savings in purchasing of indirect material and services globally.

IBX on-demand solutions for sourcing and procurement are applications provided as services based on state of the art standard technology from leading software providers. IBX eProcurement is based on MySAP SRM / EBP from SAP and IBX eSourcing is based on Emptoris, who recently was appointed as the number one eSourcing SW by Forrester Research.
